final result

I found out a few days ago that I am still clear of the virus at my final 6 month check up. I don't think the news has actually sunk in yet. There is a less than 1% chance of it returning. I may go back to my GP in a year & ask for a PCR test to be sure it really is gone. I feel very lucky. I hope other people who try the treatment are successful in clearing the virus. I am gradually beginning to feel 'normal' again.

I am so glad I found your blog. I am a 39 year old female with hep c. Everyone I have told constantly asks when are you having your treatment? Like it is no big deal. I have 3 children and the thought of going through the treatment scares me to death. The few people I have known that have gone through the treatment seemed to have a much worse time than you. So, your story has really made me feel better. Thank you and good luck in the future.
